The pick-up service is just GREAT !! Everything is specially packed so that it doesn't run together and everything stays fresh. The food is always delicious and great portions. only the fries could be crisp, then not only 4.5 but 5 stars! Price performance consistent!

For the 3rd Advent we have pre-ordered goose legs with red cabbage, dumplings, chestnuts and apple compote for four people to pick up. Well packaged, the food was even warm / hot at home. It really tasted very good and is definitely to be recommended. The portion size was also appropriate and also very inexpensive. As soon as Corona is over, we will definitely stop there.

We ordered schnitzel here in the lock down at the schnitzel window. Called in advance and agreed the pick-up time. The food was on time, perfectly packaged, ready. It was very tasty and so much that we were full of it the next day. When the lock down is over, we will definitely eat there too!

Because of lockdown 'only' went to the schnitzel window and picked up the food. The schnitzel is fantastic, the fried potatoes are fantastic, the fries are delicious, the salad and sauce are delicious. Everything tasty. More is not possible. Yes, stop by here often - it works.

We're regulars here and for good reason. We love the food and the ambience. The price-performance ratio is great! Always fresh and excellent quality. The waitresses are very courteous and friendly. Since this inn is always well attended, I recommend making reservations in advance. We will continue to stop there regularly.

Media-savvy host who is constantly present in the newspaper. I came from Leverkusen. Huge portions, but very greasy and salty. Spoiled my stomach! I don't get an answer on emails. ZERO stars!

We have now got "food from the schnitzel window" twice and were so excited about the food. It was so delicious and we will do it again 😋. Even now with the loosening it would be nice if you continue to use the cut window 👍😊 The tasty hunter's sauce fehlt is missing from the schnitzel

The inn or the facility is a bit old-fashioned. You could definitely make it a little nicer. But the food is all the more for that. I have rarely eaten such a good steak. And the schnitzel is just delicious. It's worth a visit.

I have visited the Wermelskirchen inn many times. Why? Because the atmosphere here is relaxed, the team around the landlord is friendly and courteous - and because in my opinion the best schnitzel is available here. Not only are they really tasty, they're also really big. Nobody gets up hungry here. And all at a very reasonable price. I can fully recommend the Gasthaus Wermelskirchen.

It was really nice. The best meal I’ve tried during the trip. The waitress were so kind and nice. I ordered asparagus soup and pork lion.It doesn’t make me disappointed . I will have dinner there during this week.

Excellent food and service as always! I have been here many times i my childhood and still come all the way from Norway to eat here together with my family. I had a steak with goat cheese and honey today, absolutely delicious! Looking forward to come again next summer. Kind regards from Norway, Sara

Amazing food and amazing place

Very nice place. Building is from the 1700s and the whole style matches this. The food was surprisingly good and they have a wide range of local food. However also some specialties i did not expect from such a place like mussles. Its a bit more pricey but its definitly worth it!
